Specialty Coatings Inc. ships specialty coatings and related products throughout the United States and Canada. Shipping availability may vary by product, destination, carrier requirements, hazardous-material restrictions, and applicable regulations.
Order Processing
Please allow 3–5 business days for order processing.
Specialty Coatings Inc. does not currently offer same-day shipping.
Processing time may be longer for products that are:
- Made to order
- Custom mixed or tinted
- Specially sourced
- Subject to manufacturer availability
- Subject to hazardous-material requirements
- Subject to additional documentation or verification
A product's individual product page may display a specific lead time. When a lead time is provided, customers should review and acknowledge that lead time before completing the purchase.
Standard Shipping
Orders default to UPS Ground unless another shipping option is selected or otherwise arranged.
Available shipping methods may vary depending on product, destination, package size, weight, hazardous-material requirements, and carrier availability.
FedEx Account Shipping
Customers may elect to ship collect using their company's FedEx account when the option is available on the product page.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate FedEx account information and selecting the appropriate shipping option.
Orders may be placed on hold if required FedEx account information has not been provided or if the applicable shipping charges have not been paid.
Additional surcharges may apply depending on the selected service.
Freight and Expedited Shipping
Certain products may require freight shipment or may offer expedited shipping options such as FedEx Priority Overnight (P1).
Additional charges may apply.
Shipping options and fees displayed during checkout are based on the selections available for the particular order.
Export Policy
International shipments may be subject to SCI's Export Policy and applicable U.S. export-control requirements.
Hazardous Materials and Dangerous Goods
Some coatings and related products may be classified as hazardous materials or dangerous goods.
Shipping requirements, carrier availability, packaging, service levels, and costs may differ for these products.
Certain hazardous materials and dangerous goods may be subject to shipping restrictions and may be non-returnable.
Shipping Delays
Specialty Coatings Inc. works to fulfill orders as quickly as possible; however, once an order has been transferred to a carrier, SCI cannot control the carrier's transit time.
SCI is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Carrier service interruptions
- Weather or natural events
- Transportation delays
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping information
- Carrier restrictions
- Customs or regulatory requirements
- Other circumstances outside SCI's reasonable control
Customer Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping and contact information.
SCI is not responsible for fulfillment delays resulting from incorrect or incomplete customer information.
If we need to contact you regarding an order, incorrect phone or email information may prevent us from doing so.
Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law or specifically agreed to in writing by Specialty Coatings Inc.
Customers are responsible for reviewing shipping selections and charges before completing an order.
Damaged Shipments
If your order arrives damaged, notify Specialty Coatings Inc. as soon as possible and within 5 business days of receipt.
Please provide photographs of the package, shipping container, product, and any visible damage.
Keep all original packaging and damaged product until SCI has reviewed the claim and provides further instructions.
