Gulf Coast MCU-100 Primer/Finish Moisture Cured Urethane Aluminum Coating (1 Gallon) is a universal primer and finish for metal, steel, concrete, wood, fiberglass, plastic, and galvanized surfaces, new or weathered. It can also be used over old coatings or polyurethane foam.
Ideal for rusty steel where only light cleaning is possible, it’s suited for fences, metal buildings, rails, pipelines, and other hard-to-clean surfaces. It works well as a barrier over lead-based or conventional coatings—its low solvency prevents lifting, though adhesion testing is recommended.
MCU-100 offers excellent chemical resistance, protecting metal, concrete, and wood in demanding environments such as refineries, chemical plants, water treatment facilities, mills, and marine applications.

Primer for all types of surfaces. Excellent “wetting out” properties over sound, rusty steel. Fast recoating, 1-2 hours. Cures down to 18°F on dry surfaces. Excellent corrosion resistance, passed 1,200 hours in salt cabinet. One package. Easy to use. Outstanding abrasion resistance. May be topcoated with most generic type coatings. Very good weather resistance. High heat, up to 400°F dry. Excellent as a barrier coat over lead based coatings.
